Ridruejo Tribute to Sáenz, with presence of the Science Minister Cristina Garmendia


The Minister for Science and Innovation, Cristina Garmendia said on Ridruejo Clemente Sáenz, "Professor Clemente Saenz knew Ridruejo perfectly combine rigor and excellence, the passion to teach and disseminate the ethical integrity and protection of nature. And it is good that this tribute is made within the Year of Planet Earth, in order to extend this tribute to Engineering Geology and English, because they have done in defense of nature and progress of Spain. "Cristina Garmendia, defended engineers working in the search for solutions to energy challenges and the problems caused by climate change. Garmendia, welcomed the European initiative on Global Monitoring for Environment and Security, which includes a space-based Earth observation. To Garmendia , challenges we can only tackle climate "from the international leadership."

Florentino Santos Sáenz Ridruejo considered "the last Renaissance man" and said that in Spain, no water works, "there would be no water"

The President of Engineering and Society Foundation, Miguel Aguilo , recalled "the ability to join Clemente aggregates data from geology to cultural history and location of each place. So did anything exciting Engineering.
