Xuan Pablo González - La Voz del Inkarri - Exclusive Interview - Deborah Goldstern

Exclusive Interview

From the author opens today at the second interview not Chronicle Underground, I know through my research of Colonel Percival Fawcett, who lost his life in the Amazon looking for the mythical city "Z".

During the course of that work, the figure of Xuan Pablo Gonzalez emerged as a new and refreshing voice, also pleasantly amazed to learn that a fellow literary flags raised old, something unexpected considering the Argentina present. That first impact at the time led me to contact Xuan Pablo González, and which were outstanding Over time, with the publication of each of his books.

But the choice of Xuan in Underground Chronicle also has a personal reason, and I believe his work reflects one of the central ideas that enliven this blog, and that consider our brand identity. Not in vain to say, "The Andes are talking about."

Attend the reader.

The first book I got my hands was Puzzle lost city of Esteco. In this first approach struck me how to use language, a script that catches from the start taking you to engage immediately with the story being told. How did the creative process?

"Well, from my previous books I can say that there is a search in my work to renew the language: if we look chronologically, my first book, Leyendasurevoluzión (2003), is a language book, bursting from the title, a little under the influence of readings (say literary avant-garde and surrealism, Dadaism, Modernism, etc. ), and a little personal research and experiences, mainly through field trips, in this case South America, and internal, ie the influence of hallucinogenic plants that are called. But while Legends ... breaking the language was somewhat anarchic, from my second book Projected Wild Hallucinations (2004), my writing takes a direction More specifically, mixing both indigenous languages, as the study of Old Castilian, and various current and popular speak Castilian Latin American mestizo, who once liked him as americastellano or indoespañol, differentiating the Castilian or English from Spain. Puzzle ... (2005) then the search continues Hallucinations, deepening further the same line but with a small or big difference: Hallucinations is a book written in America, with the influence of maya, the náwatl, and other indigenous languages \u200b\u200bof that region of the continent, and Puzzle instead is a book written in northwestern Argentina, and kechua is the native language with influences predominant in the novel.

I remember one time in Central read a book by Mario Payet, an intellectual and a Guatemalan guerrilla who said he was the land that created the language: that is, according where one is physically and be your leguaje.

A distinctive feature in your work, are the countless trips that led you to sound again and again the Latin American landscape. Let much of your job requires an interaction in situ, which adds an extra value to your entire building. The message is: impossible to evoke that "another story" without getting to the places involved in its development. Let's talk about these journeys.

"Well, I think in part the previous answer complete this: first was a long trip to South America where legends born ... , then another long trip through Central America , which gives life to Hallucinations ... after another trip to the NOA resulting Puzzle ... , and although previous trips were in a later book Psicodelianarkocorrida (2007), also marks appear during my travels in North Africa and Europe, and the influence of languages \u200b\u200bof these places ...

On the other side could say that every time I undertook a journey, I felt a call of those places you traveled, as guests, to live new experiences and learn.

The American before Columbus always watched from the Argentina as an issue by others, and which never wanted to be bound, except in rare cases. With the events of 2001, this light mutates radical and novel voices emerge more aware of this reality. There's like a revival of some forgotten ideals, which again gain greater prominence. Do you feel that this is a real change, or just are isolates?

"I think the change is real and profound: the Andean peoples speak of Pachakutik The land of kechua Pacha or Space-Time, and Kutik = change, shift or revolution. That is, we face a real change or renewal of existing space-time. Seen from the Amerindian ie America before Columbus, that means that ancient wisdom and indigenous concepts recur strong role: it takes nothing more to do with political developments of recent years: the case of Evo Morales Bolivia, Rigoberta Menchu \u200b\u200bof Guatemala, or that of the Zapatistas in Mexico, to name just a few of many, where the indigenous or pre-Columbian Indian comes to turning the reality of things, or at least read an old reality.

For other voices of my generation, I feel they are attentive or influenced by these changes in our country I can cite cases like Cucurto (James Vega), Guillo De Pósfay, and Thomas Astelarra, among others.

Your writings often address the ingestion of plant teachers as if Ayahuasca, which ascribe an almost necessary condition to be internalized in the "other story denied. " Some scholars might interpret this "need" as a diversion before the real research, but these claims would be sustained by the taboo that tries to rationalize the story, especially the American, as a linear process, which does not need to "intermediaries." However, there is a long tradition that rescues this form of communication, and which appeals to the Ayahuasca as required initiation key.
What is your thought?

"There are several anthropologists and researchers (from Castaneda to Sharon, from Wasson to Narby and McKenna, among others) who have agreed on the need to understand and experiment with plants indigenous teachers, if one genuinely wants to move to their way of seeing the world. The equation or condition would be to find an ancient world view, working with shamanic plants, must live the reality that we have these plants.

I think the whole world shamanic traditions teach us about the interrelationship of sacred plants with certain individuals receptors (called shamans or shamans, machismo, peasant, Amawta, etc.), and it's where there is the art and poetry, in its broadest sense. I feel that my job back "literary" in these shamanic traditions, wisely preserved by the indigenous peoples of our America, those traditions that speak of plants as the Ayawaska as required initiation key. You could also say that I had not written Suenhos ... , for example, without the help of the Ayawaska and other sacred plants, which help you to understand or interpret the world.

Moreover believe there is a myopic view and reactionary, not without some bias or malice, some researchers "abstainers" (to put it in some way), that part of ignorance, or simply the bad milk. And this is the product of a long misunderstanding and persecution of many people and plants that have lived harmoniously in the world before the emergence of Western thought and Christian, which is what caused and causes many destructive errors attributed to mankind.

addition to nurturing travel, and plant teachers, your work stands out for the rescue of the documentary sources, which speaks of a careful researcher and trained reader, further revalued each of your jobs. In a continent where the last documentation before the conquest was almost annihilated, stands as encouraging to know that we can reconstruct that history visible, which I imagine must be very stressful.
Perhaps one of the books I most identify is Suehhos Tupamaros, where I feel masterfully able to capture a still-emerging Andean universe, which again returns to be decoded. Suehn Tupamaros is also an allegory of the world hidden inside America, which hopes to repair. "Coincidís?

"Well, it's exhausting work, never really was (laughs): I mean, personally, to investigate thoroughly about this other story, and go to libraries or top of a mountain, or deep in the jungle, which he did was not only to renew my understanding of things, but also my strength to keep going, with new jobs that were going on (as The forty days and forty nights, my latest book, or the next that are underway: The desert Mapu and Rain pumpkin ash). And what I feel is more of an appreciation, as a gift, if you will, that gave me Life. And in the case of Suenhos ... , what I feel is that it was a gift from the depths of the Andes, or from the depths of America, so that I could pass.

regard to compensation to which referees, I totally agree, and it has to do with what I said before Pachakutik: the timing, and Earth, the space we inhabit is renewing, and I believe we must open our eyes our ears, our minds, our souls, our hearts, we must urgently open. Falling asleep, sleepwalking, or inertia or apathy, perhaps the biggest mistake of our lives. Pachamama not going to wait to react. The Pachakutik not going to wait: in fact already happening, and is also showing earthquakes, tsunamis, floods, tornadoes, etc. And it is no coincidence that Evo Morales is talking about we give priority to the rights of Mother Earth.

One I have been enunciating phrases in Chronic Underground, is one that says, "The Andes are talking about." When reviewing your work, it becomes clear that it is due to that call, that few Latin Americans seem to understand. Surprise Argentina turn the source of the receiver, taking into account the difficulties that such views within the country. The closeness of the 2012 seems to be mysteriously linked to this process, which I assume, lead to large unexpected revelations. Do you believe in the existence of so-called Andean?

"Yes, without doubt, and was regularly traveling and living in the Andes, whenever I could, over the last twenty years of my life. Could even say that my books were written by a man named Xuan González, but he was only a receiver or an antenna that got the message of the Andes, the Amazon message , and Mother earth that speak to you all, but many prefer to be deaf.

Moreover Mario Barrios, a painter and amawta of northern Argentina, now living in Buenos Aires, he is Indian and always say that all who are born here in America are Indian men and women beyond our skin, blood or culture. A little returning to the speech of the great revolutionary of all Latin American history, Tupac Amaru, the great inspiration of Suenhos ... . That is, although we deny the Argentines the roll of civilization and barbarism, we are Indians.

And of course I agree that the prophecies of 2012 are related to the call of the Andes, and the call of the Pachamama , as I have heard of Andean Amawta I met on my travels as José Illescas, Carlos Milla Villena, and Marcelo Zaiduni, among others.

final question required. What would you recommend Xuan Pablo Gonzalez to new generations that start?

- What starts in the reading, teacher plants, or in the Latin American reality? I guess it will be on reading, or at least reading the Latin American reality. In this case I recommend are theoretical and practical activities (laughs). In the case of the theory could recommend some readings as José María Arguedas, and books like Deep Rivers, and Cesar Calvo, and Three Moxo halves of Ino, or Manuel Scorza, and Tomb of lightning, or Carlos Castaneda and The Teachings of Don Juan . Also Popol Vuh, the songs of Nezahualkoyotl and Maria Sabina, and the chronicles of Felipe Huaman Poma de Ayala, among many others. The paintings of Paul Amaringo, and all the art and poetry Indians across the continent: petroglyphs, tapestries, paintings, pyramids, legends, myths, etc.. Of all people, Maya, Huichol, Navajo, Sioux, Aztecs, Toltek, Guarani, Shipibo, kechua, Mapuche, etc.

On the practical side is traveling. Travel exterior and interior, with the best companies you can find, and with the best guides you can find. And always with deep respect and humility, listening to the elders, shamans and mommies, the grandpas and grandmas, going to sacred sites and surrounding himself Mother Nature, always following the paths that have heart, as Don Juan. Following the Kapak Nan, The Right Way, Right and True, as said by the Incas.

're considered one of the most important UFO, and also member of the so-called fourth litter of Hispanic researchers in the field. How and why did you start these studies? Virtually

from an early age I have been a very curious person, and everything related to strange phenomena has attracted my attention. I remember I had a folder full of newspaper clippings and photocopies of articles and books on flying saucers trying eagerly to reread again and again. All information fascinated me. Dedication to research stems from the imperative to know, to study in depth those enigmas of the speakers that made those pages and the imagination of a teenager. Apart from that, I believe that UFOs is one of the most exciting intellectual challenges to which we can face ...

One of the qualities that distinguish you as a researcher, is tracking the cases investigated. Constancia, analytical ability, and thoroughness in the analysis are a must for any student to start, precisely because of the criticism heard when it comes to discrediting to ufology, is the haste in diagnosis on the observations of these unknown aerial objects. "Coincidís?

I think the rush, in general, do not act wisely in any field of study. To the question before us is fundamental and essential tranquility, analysis and reflection in true detective style to reach fruition. In addition of course, to manage a comprehensive documentation and develop a methodical investigation that can take anywhere from months to years to materialize in a report, article, book, etc.. Therefore, it is inexcusable that the research be presented in a clear and documented much information as possible try to answer all the questions of the event, for the reader to verify that you have followed all possible ways to clarify the incident in a conventional manner before if you want to raise any kind of possibility or unorthodox hypothesis. In the same way the researcher can never be sure what is unknown or pass it off as an irrefutable certainty.
Anyway, I think they do very good research on both sides of the Atlantic, although they often make more noise and postulates the alleged sensational discoveries. However
also respect and understand that the media specialist must publish certain news with the speed that the novelty of these demands, while taking the logical reserves and prudence and not drawing major conclusions that mere exposure. In fact on many occasions to publish some stories can lead to the emergence of more vital data for research, but what is not should never fall into the deception or manipulation of information. In this sense, for example, the three trade magazines, working in Spain they do with paper.

The case " Los Villares is one of your trademarks, and I understand has been investigating a long time. Do you have any hypothesis prepared to explain it fully, or we face a conundrum with no solution in the short term?

UFO Landing Los Villares is undoubtedly one of the most intriguing and interesting that I had the opportunity to investigate. Apart from the testimonial evidence of its main character, Dionisio Avila, we could examine different physical tests which validate his extraordinary story. The areas of alleged landings offer much information about what could happen there, from a depopulation of vegetation first, that in subsequent years has shown a dramatic change, to dehydration and freezing on some items natural environment of the second site.
But perhaps the turning point of the incident was the discovery that the strange stone engravings, the witness said he had received no less enigmatic for a humanoid, the famous lucerillo, containing entries very similar to those of an ancient language used by the nomads of the desert in Algeria. Thanks to the efforts of a good friend, Iker Jiménez, met in the famous Henry Lothe rubbings made in Tassili, where among other mysterious cave paintings found which represents the so-called Great God Marciano known to all, there were characters and symbols that could be indisputable proof the existence of a forgotten past and writing used by our ancestors in very distant date, that we could climb up to 12,000 years ago. How you can find this same script in a UFO landing occurred in the twentieth century? ... Perhaps if some headway on the translation of these writings could find many answers to those recorded amazing creatures and objects representing disconcerting with daily images of wildlife and game reflected with accuracy and beauty never cease to awe.
most irritating thing about this is that after so many decades even, officially from the Museum of Man in Paris, no authority has been expressed clearly the existence of this script, much less on the possible content of them.
addition, the route of translation lucerillo himself is an enigma in itself, in a small stone so many riddles focus began to clear up such as tools used for implementation, ranging from a fine "punch" to circular pieces that have scratched the surface with great skill, also leaving, the unknown author, some almost imperceptible marks and signs quite curious and striking. Naturally
investigations into the case of Villares not been completed and despite more than 15 years are still many surprises in the pipeline and hopefully in the future we can still realize some of the most intriguing aspects of the case. We are working ...

visited South America during 2010, one of your points in the city of Cuzco, Peru, where some of the most enigmatic ruins of the planet. Well as in Egypt, the classic argument for creating some of the Andean monuments, continues to divide the experts still do not rule on the form of construction used by ancient architects. It speaks of a highly developed technology, superior even today. Did you develop an opinion on the buildings observed?

One I can not but be impressed by the magnitude and magnificence of certain works produced in ancient times. In the wonderful Cuzco, visit highly recommend it to all lovers of mystery, it is evident that the builders were custodians of a special knowledge that allowed them to draw walls and buildings with a unique, incomparable refinement and solidity. In fact many of these monuments stand the test of years, and even earthquakes with a boldness that even our modern science is able to understand, although the architects of these wonders dispensed proud of using any type of mortar for joining the blocks. The art and science required to assemble, to perfection, thousands of blocks to which more colorful and elaborate, filled with impossible angles, not counting the enormous weight of many of them as we saw in the impressive fortress of Sacsayhuaman, merely draw an aura of mystery around the origin and nature of such glaring civilization that managed to cast a stone at will as if it were clay.

This puzzle is enlarged to the absolute limits when I saw with my own eyes that in Egypt there are constructions identical to those observed in Peru, even in its minutest details. So the likelihood of intercontinental or knowledge expanded by a handful of insiders in ancient times is more than likely on the basis of these buildings. But who were the authors of these buildings? ... "Survivors of Atlantis, a great civilization unknown people who came from other worlds ...? Who knows, is a subject that fascinates me like few I have yet pending some trips, I hope to make soon to continue my research ...

Your ability as a writer is evident with the publication of a book on Jules Verne , and that unlike other approaches, focused on shredding the appearance of the UFO phenomenon in the modern era, with reference to the classic American wave that took place during the late nineteenth century How does Verne's vision within the context of these phenomena?

Undoubtedly the great Jules Verne still hides many secrets in his books. In his novel Robur the Conqueror reflected Gallic writer with a staggering precision, almost surgical, the extraordinary events that were to occur in the United States. Camouflaged his story lines we can draw many "Predictions" about the strange sightings of flying machines that flew over several U.S. states between 1896 and 1897 causing the astonishment of all who saw them. So astonishing was this prediction that cities and behaviors of these erratic and bizarre artifacts and their crews, perplexing aspect of nineteenth century were described in detail previously by Verne in his book. One of the most important meetings of this wave, which occurred on Sacramento in 1896, where a mysterious airship with several bright lights were seen by a crowd, is referred to by the Frenchman with such extraordinary prescience, that is able to name in the pages of Robur the Conqueror, 10 years before the events, the city where the monument would happen and when, with startling accuracy. Even the concern of the press at the time by those impossible visions was presaged by Verne in his letter in a repeating transparent holders. And explained that the date of publication of Robur the Conqueror, a decade later coincided with the start day of that wave ...

Within ufology, the contact is perceived as the great black hole that no one wants to achieve. Most ufologists argue divorce irreconcilable conflict between parties, but at some point seems to be a connection but ignore how it works now. Do you have any position taken?

No aspect of the UFO phenomenon may be neglected or ignored if the aim is to clarify the nature of the puzzle in its entirety. And I sincerely believe that many incidents are framed in this phenomenology credible. But what is clear is that the scene of the contacts is full of information crazy, absurd and farcical. While on the other hand, as I say, rigorous analysis of certain episodes can induce us to further knowledge of the intricacies of a reality entirely internal unknown and linked to the appearance of strange aircraft in the skies. Occurs both as to the issue of abductions, is now a paradigm as large and full of contradictions to be able to distinguish fraud, mistakes and misinterpretations, obtained under hypnosis conducted poorly, for genuine cases. Furthermore, the puzzle is compounded when it became apparent disturbing parallels between alien abduction and alleged contacts with "space brothers above, which do not confirm whether the complexity of the study of UFOs, since the minds, whatever their origin, that control these events are hiding in deception, manipulation and all in hiding their true intentions to carry out their appearances.

We are in the anteroom, 2012. The discussion takes a few years and as emblematic date approaches, an "incipient psychosis begins to be evident especially among some researchers, who seem to like the idea of \u200b\u200ban imminent cataclysm of apocalyptic tinge. Personally the subject gives me a certain weariness, and not believe in an imminent disaster, and the fantastic Mayan prophecies. What sensations will occur as we approach the magic number?

need not be a seer to know that we are living a terribly troubled and uncertain times, and therefore certain soothsayers pretend to see in these signs of drastic changes foreshadowing of the dreaded end of the world supposedly announced by the Maya to 2012. Personally I do not think so, and would be more in line with an end of cycle time computation in another evil and deadly circumstances. Keep in mind that everything in life is cyclical and periods of calm are preceded in turn by more scrambled and busy times, come on, that despite the seriousness of some issues that surround us, but not be of comfort, no There is nothing new under the sun ...

Perhaps one of the largest awards and honors you as a researcher, is to have the friendship of one of the most important references on the subject, the great Juan Benítez. Do not know if it's right to use the word patronage, but I somehow feel that your case is correct. Do you feel a continuation of his work?

Well, that is too big and I appreciate your opinion. Juan is a good friend and a benchmark for all who are dedicated to the study of UFOs. His work over the last 4 decades is unbeatable and unrepeatable, and thanks to his vast contribution informative English UFO cases has a superb file. I had the great fortune to share a lot of research and especially the many hours of gathering that has enriched me greatly given their extensive experience. On occasion, made some reference to the relay, I think more on the emotional than any other facet of his impressive career as a researcher and writer of success. The passion, enthusiasm and insatiable curiosity that drive Juanjo, is the only witness that I can take the teacher ...

According to some scholars, the new wave of new air is Exopolitics in the ever changing scene ufo. Not all however, adhere to the proposal, and not believe in this new panacea it appears to be a screen aimed at diverting attention from the real UFO reality. Personally I think Exopolitics as a socio-psychological experiment.

There are many critical voices against the alleged achievements and exploits of the Exopolitics which incidentally is always surrounded by controversy. I think that mix concepts, research and information in a chaotic and without much control and rigor, leading to the assimilation of their alleged discovery by the public and the media is not the most appropriate. Although I hope to make any significant contribution because, supposedly moving to high levels ... will have to wait.

final question required What would you recommend to those who start this way?

To begin with patience, there is much to read and much to learn before we leap to the investigation.
But if they decide to pursue this, do it for healthy curiosity, and desire to contribute something, to discover, especially in print work honestly and simply, and does not intend to reach peaks and aspirations that would be more easy for others paths ... well, and I would recommend going through your wonderful blog Debbie, a luxury in these times ...
